How do Stroud Homes find my perfect Plan?
Sitting down with our Sales Consultant Mark, he completes a design brief and takes you through the plans that fit in with your brief.
This eliminates those plans that don’t suit and limits any overwhelming factors that can occur.
You can also customise a pre-designed plan.
At Stroud Homes all our plans come with multiple façade options, whether you are after a Classic ‘brick & tile’ look, or a more modern/urban façade or even the Hamptons façade.
We can customise the design to have any one of our facades to suit, often changing the facade gives the ‘WOW’ factor many clients are looking for.
Architectural Designed Plans
A custom design usually starts with an Architect or Designer and a blank piece of paper. From here you discuss how you want your home to flow and how you want the layout to be.
This process can often take long periods of time, potentially months with many plan revisions, therefore the process can be more complex and there is a higher cost in design fees associated with this.
Often the builder is not involved in the design stage and any input from the builder from a construction point of view is too late, meaning more delays in completing the design.
It’s important that the builder has the opportunity to add value as they can point out cost saving areas and alternate materials to save construction costs.
