The study nook
Many of our existing plans have provisions for a study nook; a space in which the kids can complete schoolwork while you prepare dinner, assisting them or monitoring their studies.
We also have specific study rooms or a separate office space, this is more for those that work from home, run a business from home or older children who are studying in their final years at school or going to university.
It allows you to have a room where you can go and get away from the busy house life and undertake your work peacefully.

With Stroud Homes’ own in-house interior designer we can offer ideas on how to give these areas a ‘WOW factor’ during our consult in the selection studio.
It could be as simple as a barn door on a study nook to hide the area away when not in use or guests are around.
We can customise desk, shelving, or storage ideas to work in with the space and really make the room feel inviting and a fun space to work in.
