Building Better Homes

As a local home builder in Auckland, we are committed to providing high-quality and sustainable homes to our community.

We believe in using local suppliers and businesses as much as possible to help support the local economy and provide the best materials for our homes.

Our homes are built to last, and we make sure to use only the best products and materials in their construction.

We take a closer look at the products and materials that we use to build our homes, and why we believe that using local suppliers is so important to us:

Frames

At Stroud Homes Auckland South, we understand that the foundation of a strong and sturdy home starts with framing. That’s why we choose to use traditional framing methods for all of our homes.

This time-tested technique provides a solid structure that will stand the test of time and gives us the confidence to know that our homes will provide a safe and secure living environment for generations to come.

In the past, supply issues with prenails used in traditional framing methods could be a problem. We are pleased to say that those days are behind us. Now, prenails are readily available and can be easily obtained to suit our construction schedule.

This ensures that we can build homes quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality or safety.

Slabs

We aim to build homes that not only look great but are also environmentally sustainable.

That’s why we’re proud to offer concrete rib-raft slabs as a standard option for all of our homes. This method of building a foundation is quick and tidy, providing a strong and durable base for your new home. But we don’t stop there.

For those who are looking for an even more innovative and sustainable option, we also offer QPod slabs. These slabs are truly cutting-edge and make a real difference when it comes to reducing your home’s carbon footprint.

The pods are made from recycled plastic from sources such as car batteries and wheelie bins and are a great example of how we’re always looking for new ways to be more environmentally conscious.

We believe in the importance of continuing to be innovative in construction and finding the most eco-friendly way to build new homes in and around the Auckland South region.

We are persistent and passionate about achieving this objective while keeping the build inside the budget of a conventional home build.
