Alfresco areas & decks

An alfresco area is a true extension of your indoor living and dining rooms.

Not only can they add immense value to your home, but a stylish alfresco area can really enhance your enjoyment in your home.

An outdoor alfresco also provides a beautiful focal point in and outside the home; all year round.

Covered Alfresco areas are included in almost all of our designs so rain or shine, you can enjoy that indoor/outdoor living that we all love as Kiwis!

Outdoor Kitchen Alfresco

What to include for your alfresco

Alfresco areas in our designs include a concrete floor, this is usually an extension of the main slab for the house, however you can choose any flooring at an additional cost, tiles, timber etc.

The most important thing that you need for your outdoor kitchen is the grill itself. A barbecue, a wood fired pizza oven or a complete outdoor kitchen are all great options for cooking.

Think about your lifestyle when choosing which one will best suit. Consider installing some clever storage solutions to organise your utensils.

Extra additions such as a bar fridge, sink and other kitchen fixtures will make hosting easy and cleaning up simple.

You could can also install ceiling fans for the warmer months and a gas or woodburning fireplace creates a fantastic atmosphere! You can also have an outdoor fire.

Create a seamless connection

When creating a desired seamless effect from living areas to the outdoors, installing Bi-fold doors are our preferred option.

These types of doors can connect the outdoors seamlessly to the indoors and are perfect because they can open wide or be closed when the weather turns bad.

Pillarless doors create an even more seamless flow and depending on your design you can have a servery hatch, a bar leaner with bi-fold windows – great for watching sport on the big TV inside.
