Stroud Homes Auckland South completed a home in late 2023 for us. Craig and his team including Ina were superb all the way through the construction phase through completion and handover.

They were highly engaging, displayed great knowledge and above all, were really pragmatic with their knowledge and suggestions. A timeline was agreed and the full build was within the period that was agreed at the start of the process.

Regular weekly communication was another feature of the service. This was both via email and over the phone with Craig.
The commitment to see the build through was most welcome, particularly when there were weather challenges.

I would highly recommend Craig and his team. It was very satisfying and comforting to know that Craig and his team were as invested in your project as you. This aspect provided a lot of trust and assurance.

Strout Homes understood quality when comes to constructions. Last year we approached Stroud to build our Five Bedroom Church Manse. They started the work in May and completed the work on the 16th of November. We agreed to build our project in six months and Stroud delivered. In 2023 Stroud Homes Auckland South built two homes for us on one property, a family home and a minor dwelling being 65 square metres.
They guided us through the process with amazing knowledge, advice and patience as we had never built anything before.
Craig and the team at Stroud Homes went above and beyond their duty to give us homes that we are so happy and proud to live in.
They were always aware of our budget and stuck very closely to it.
We were kept up to date with weekly emails advising what would be completed each week. Of course weather sometimes changed that but again they stayed very close to the timeline given to us.
Craig was always available to us either by cellphone or face to face meetings.
Like a good Doctor that you trust, you need to have huge trust and faith in a building company.

Building during a global pandemic and supply chain turmoil is not for the faint hearted. It pays to have the right professionals in your corner. Having engaged with a range of building companies prior to visiting Stroud and being given the impression that our budget would only enable us to build a fairly standard spec house, when we met with Eddie and the Team from Stroud they had a different approach from the outset.

Rather than asking us what our budget was straight away, he focused on what we needed and wanted. Mike and Eddie then visited the site and as a result of that visit and understanding our requirements and budget constraints Eddie suggested we go down the route of a bespoke build.

We never thought we would be able to work with an architect and plan our house from the ground up. From design through to choosing the fixtures and fittings the team at Stroud have been there to support and guide us through this journey every step of the way.

I’m so impressed with what’s happening next door! The whole project is progressing incredibly efficiently.

James and Liam (and Brendon) are REALLY nice guys and as you say, take great pride in their work. They are very considerate of us. It’s great hearing them interact with eachother in such a collegial and respectful manner.

James is a very clever building professional who seems to go the extra mile! His interactions with all of the other trades are fantastic too… welcoming, helpful and clear.

Of course NONE of this would be happening without you behind the scenes Craig. You have facilitated a very well-oiled ‘house-building’ machine ! I could never have anticipated such a positive experience as what has occurred thus far.
